The Adhari Park, a novel visitor destination, was inaugurated by His Majesty King Hamad on April 21, 2008.
The development has been meticulously planned to create a comprehensive entertainment hub catering to families from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the GCC region, complete with abundant parking facilities capable of accommodating up to 1600 vehicles.
The Development is situated adjacent to the highway that links to the causeway connecting to Saudi Arabia. It is positioned to the northern side of the Sh. Isa Bin Salman Highway.
The project boasts excellent visibility from the Sh. Isa bin Salman Highway and is conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from the Kingdom of Bahrain – Saudi Causeway.
In 2009, the Kingdom of Bahrain–Saudi Causeway saw a significant influx of visitors, with a reported 8 million arrivals according to the Ministry of Tourism. This surge in numbers highlights the considerable potential for marketing the area.
The design idea is straightforward and uncomplicated. A cluster of structures accommodating the main indoor activities is arranged in proximity to the primary car parking zone.
A covered wall marks the entrance to the park, outlining the Entry Court that features palm trees in its landscaping.
A wall opening ushers you into a central courtyard adorned with landscaping, where a fountain and a striking vertical element stand prominently.
The main Food Court and the Indoor Entertainment Hall, which includes a 10-lane bowling alley, are located on the opposite side of the courtyard.
The arrangement of the four key elements establishes pathways that lead to various facilities. On both sides of the passage that leads to the lake, shops are positioned, creating a traditional souk-like atmosphere.
The area linking the Multipurpose Hall and the Food Court provides a connection to both the mosque and the pre-existing swimming pool.
Covering an area of around 165,000 square meters, the location will offer a comprehensive recreational encounter suitable for the entire family.
